Welcome!
Spandan is a sanskrit word that signifies vitality. Often loosely translated to 'pulse' or 'alive,' it has more to do with the gift of life than living. Spandan.com gets its name from the Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) magazine, Spandan. Spandan.com is an unofficial MAMC website, created by me for MAMC students and aspirants. The links below can help you explore most of the website. If you can't find what you need, direct questions to me. - Nikhil Goyal

You Said It! Here's what Rakesh Sood (1977) said about MAMC Memories: "Perhaps the best time enjoyed with friends. Hardly studied but grew a lot . Loved teachers like Drs. Tripathi (Pharmacology), B.K. Tondon/Phalelker (Anatomy) and many more. Some were terrible. Won\'t name them though. Retired from a professorship at a medical college in Richmond, Virginia, USA after 19 years. Now in private practice as a chief psychiatrist and director of sleep disorders center in a private hospital." |
